How To Plan Ahead For The Sun, Moon and Milky Way For Landscape Photography

Knowing when and where the sun, moon and milky way will be in the sky ahead of time is valuable information for landscape photographers. The PhotoPills app is the tool I use to plan landscape photography shoots. It is a powerful app and takes some learning, so in this video, I give some tips for basic planning ahead using the PhotoPills app including three main planning scenarios:
1 - Quickly seeing sun/moon rise and set times for any location.
2 - Knowing what the sun, moon and milky way will be doing at a specific location on a specific day.
3 - Determining when the best sun, moon or milky way alignment will happen at a location.
