Antpur village, Hooghly district, West Bengal, India is home to Ramakrishna Math, Antpur. Swami Premananda Maharaj (pre-sanyas name Baburam), a direct student of Sri Ramakrishnadeva, was born here and was sanctified by the holy presence of Sri Ramakrishnadeva, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda ji, and other brother disciples.
Nitya Puja (daily worship) is performed at the Ramakrishna Temple in RKM Antpur.
Sri Ramakrishna treated Baburam as one of his own on their first meeting in Dakshineshwar.

"Example is better than precept," he stressed throughout his education. He was usually preoccupied with work and would say things like, "Let the performance speak and the mouth shut." Ramakrishna Paramhansa Dev desired the full development of the monks' and Brahmacharis' latent strength.
Under divine revelation, the nine fellow-disciples led by Narendranath took the radical determination of collectively forsaking the world on Christmas Eve, December 24th.
Antpur celebrated the 24th of December 1886, when Swami Vivekananda and eight other direct students of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna Deb took a vow of "Atmano Mokhartham and Jagdhitya cha" with remembrance and service, with a three-day festival. This celebration drew tens of thousands of people. During the celebration, nearly 20,000 devotees received Noon Prasad.
Swami Vivekananda, along with eight brother followers, renounced the world on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 1886, in Antpur.
Allopathy Dispensary, Homeopathy Dispensary, Mobile Dispensary, Cataract Surgery, Spectacle Distribution, Blood Donation Camp, Weekly Dental Camp, Orthopaedic Department, Eye Department, Medical Relief, Mother, Child Care Service, and other social activities have been carried out by Ramakrishna Mission, Antpur.
I photographed the Aashram, Dunighar (where Ramakrishna gave the nine Bhaktas mantras while witnessing fire), a giant bowl (in which Khichuri or any other item for about 2000 people is prepared on special occasions), and the names of the nine Brahmacharis (including pre-sanyas and after-sanyas names).
Finally, I'd want to point out that Antpur Ramakrisha Mission is really worth seeing.
