Mount Shasta Stories and Magical spots filled with mystery

SooJ and I revisit one of our favorite places on the west coast, California's Mount Shasta. Shasta has many stories and mysteries surrounding it. The mountain is considered a sacred place by several Native American tribes, including the Shasta, Wintu, and Modoc peoples. For many of these tribes, the mountain is seen as a living entity and a spiritual center.

There is no denying the energy present in this area. There is a stillness and grounding there that can only be considered as healing. Are there mysterious and magical things also? YES. We did not see fairies or big foot or aliens (this time)... but so much nature and nature is magical in itself.
