The UK is in the grip of a household debt emergency and the cost of living crisis has led to a rapid growth in over-indebtedness.

Over 10 million people are now struggling to pay bills or finding their debt repayments a heavy burden, that’s a 60% increase since 2017. That's why up and down the country people have come together, taken power into their own hands and are demanding justice.

The People's Manifesto on Debt outlines not just the current problems with this broken system, but also what needs to be done so people in debt can live dignified, just, and thriving lives.
