عبد الرحمن هشام بيحكي عن ماضيه بأسلوب فيه تأملات كبيرة. هو ندمان إنه مسمعش كلام والده ووقف السباحة بعد ما وصل لمستوى عالي، وكل ده بسبب ضغط الثانوية العامة. كان عاوز في طفولته إنه يغيّر نظرته للحياة زي مثلا انه كان شايف إن الثانوية العامة هي السنة الوحيدة اللي لازم يجتهد فيها وانه كان عاوز يقدم اكتر في باقي السنين رغم انه كان بيطلع من الاوائل بس كان شايف انه لسه ممكن يقدم اكتر .

هو كمان بيتكلم عن الفترة اللي تأثر فيها بالناس اللي حواليه، وازاي لحق نفسه منهم، رغم إن تأثيرهم لحد دلوقتي لسه موجود معاه. ومن ضمن الحاجات اللي بيعاني منها هو جلد الذات، اللي بيحس إنه عائق كبير قدامه.

عبد الرحمن كمان بيتطرق لنظرة المجتمع القاسية لمهنة العلاج الطبيعي، خصوصًا في المجتمع المصري، وده اللي مستفز بالنسبة له. وفوق كل ده، عنده قلق من مستقبل الطب، لأنه شايف إن الذكاء الاصطناعي هيبدأ يحتل أماكن في مجالات الطب وطب الأسنان والعلاج الطبيعي، وده بيخليه يسأل عن دور الإنسان في المستقبل في الحاجات دي.
