There are a number of ways to get a copy of your T4 slip box amounts. The easiest way is through your CRA My Account.
When a T4 is issued by your employer, one copy goes to you, and the other copy goes to the CRA.
When the CRA receives your T4, they store its information on your My Account. Slips for the most recent tax year are available in February or March of the following year.
Once you’re on the CRA website and have signed into your My Account, select “Tax information slips (T4 and more).”
Next, select the tax year you’re looking for, and your available slips will appear.
Choose your T4 and then select “Original” to open it. Once your T4 summary is open, select “Print or Save.”
If you don’t have a CRA My Account, you can contact your employer directly for a copy of your T4. If your employer can’t provide it–because, for example, they went out of business–contact the CRA for more guidance.
