A Suspicious death has been confirmed as Murder by Uppal Police - Arrested (4) main accused and one harbourer- Seized Auto, two wheeler, (3) cell phone and a lighter which were used for commission of offence

Cr No . 527/2021 U/sec 174 Cr.P.C of Uppal PS: On the morning of 21.06.2021 on receipt of the information about a charred body of an unknown male aged about 25 yrs at HMDA layout, near Shilparamam the Uppal police reached the scene and on verification the said unknown male was aged about yrs, partially burnt. He was wearing an ear ring, a tattoo mark marks on left hand as “BALU” “YADAIAH” and symbol of “OM” and the right hand as “BHAVANI”. Found a plastic bottle beside the body emanating kerosene. On the complaint of M. Narender Reddy, supervisor HMDA layout r/o Vijayapuri colony, the above case was registered and investigated into.

LOOK OUT NOTICE: The look out notices were circulated in the surrounding PS’s, Commmissionerates and other districts to find out the missing cases with the above descriptions.

Cr No 301/20201 U/h Man missing of Balanagar PS: We found one missing person with the above descriptions as Balraju, age: 22 yrs, Occ: Kirana shop worker, r/o IDPL colony, Balanagar, immediately by contacting the IO and the family members of the above case we came to know that, the man is missing since 5:00 PM on 20.06.2021, he went with his friends but did not return home till the date.

Method of detection and history of the accused: Basing on the technical evidence on interrogation of the below accused they confessed the offence as belows:-

The prime accused Vadthyavath Mahesh (A-1) and deceased Balaraju known to each other since 6 years. On 20-06-2021 at about 2 PM when the prime accused Mahesh (A-1) along with friends Nagaraju , Sai were consuming Toddy in a compound at Jinkala baavi, Sanat Nagar, the deceased Balaraju came there. All of them together consumed alcohol and toddy. Later at about 4 30 PM all of them left by Mahesh (A-1) Auto Br. No TS 10UB 6994 to drop Balaraju (deceased) at IDPL. At about 5 they left Balaraju. After leaving Balaraju in a few minutes Mahesh (A-1) noticed that his phone was missing. Mahesh (A-1) suspected Balaraju and went back to Balaraju's house. After calling him out, Mahesh (A-1) enquired him about the phone but he denied it. Then Mahesh (A-1), Balaraju along with two friends left from there to know about the phone and reached to Mahesh (A-1)'s house at Chiluka Nagar. There the deceased was beaten with hands by Mahesh (A-1) by enquiring about his phone. Then Balaraju said that, he gave the phone to one Mr Devender, owner of kiranashop where he is working. When the deceased saying the above, Nagaraju took the video in his mobile. Later Mahesh (A-1) called to Devender and asked about phone but Devender denied the receiving the phone from the deceased. Mean while Mahesh (A-1) called to his brother Sudheer and requested to come over there. At about 9 PM Nagaraju and Sai left the accused house.


At about 1030 Mahesh (A-1)'s Elder brother Naresh (A-2) and younger brother Sudheer(A-3) together came to Mahesh (A-1)'s house. There all the accused Mahesh (A-1), and his brothers Naresh (A-2) and Sudheer (A-3) who are in heavy drunken condition, beaten him indiscriminately to death. Then all together kept his body in the Mahesh (A-1)'s rented Auto Br. No TS 10UB 6994. Later Mahesh (A-1), his wife Vijaya (A-4) , elder brother Naresh (A-2), along with deceased body in Auto, Mahesh (A-1)'s younger brother Sudheer (A-3) on Bike Br. No TS 08HH 3406 left from there along with kerosene to dispose the body. Sudheer was waiting at Nagole on bike, the remaining accused went into HMDA layout and burnt the body by pouring kerosene. Later all the accused A-1 to A-4 went to Anand Nagar, Bandlaguda to their sister Shanthi's house. The A-5 Kethavath Ravi brother-in-law of A-1 Mahesh gave shelter to Mahesh (A-1) his wife Vijaya (A-4), brothers Naresh (A-2), Sudhir (A-3) and concealed the Auto Br. No TS 10UB 6994 and bike Br. No TS 08HH 3406 nearby his house.

On the confession of the accused the section of law was altered from 174 Cr.P.C (Suspicious death to Sec 302, 201, 212 r/w 34 IPC and sent the alteration memos to all the concerned including the Hon’ble court.

A-3 Vadthyavath Sudheer s/o late Ramulu, age: 28 yrs, occ: Auto driver, r/o Nagole, L.B.Nagar
