2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Cracked Turbo! Removal, Disassembly and Repair!! He351cw

sharing some tips on the 3rd gen dodge Ram diesel 3500, on how to remove the turbo, removing some very stubborn nuts, and the disassembly of the turbine housing. I got the tubine housing from ebay vendor turbopartscity02. MAKE SURE you get a housing appropriate for you application, some are larger and won't work with a stock setup.

NOTE-Around the 2 minute mark, you can see a rod that keeps the turbo connected. the c clip needs to be removed and the rod disconnected. very simple.

NOTE- SOMETHING very important I saw after everything was put back together, was that my exhaust manifold was cracked front and back. you can
get a aftermarket Dorman manifold at O'Reillys for under 300; it was highly recommended by a muffler shop.

NOTE- I also left out to remove both tubines (you do need to loosen them/ reverse threads) don't forget the gigantic snap ring behind the turbo! I hope this video help!
