I loved this build, even though it was one of the most detailed, involved builds I’ve completed to date. If you attempt this build, there are some things you need to know going into it.

1. Every single piece has to be made by you, from creating the filigrees on signs, to slicing lemons for the dinner plate, to placing the roses on the bushes.
2. The glue provided will not be enough. Get yourself some quick, clear-drying glue and keep it on hand
3. The lights will short out once you’ve assembled the nook no matter what precautions you take. It’s still beautiful, but you’ll lose the beauty of the lights after the first time or two using the switch.
4. If pieces are missing, don’t panic. Find a substitute or rearrange the decorations in the shops so it doesn’t show. Most of the interior decorations in the shops won’t show anyway.
5. There is no way to contact the company if you run into difficulties. Google is your friend.

All those issues aside, this was a fun build. It pushed me beyond what I thought I could do, and showed me I was capable of more. I loved taking the strawberry pieces and turning them into bacon. Honestly, the creativity of the minds who create these nooks awes me. Not only do they miniaturize everyday scenes, but they’re so creative in the materials used to do so.
