The wood Jewel Bear Leuku Knife is formidable as a hunting, skinning, and bushcraft knife.

The Leuku is the traditional camp knife of the Sami, who are indigenous to the far northern region of Scandinavia. It is used for butchering game, building shelter, skinning, and chopping wood. These are large, serious knives designed for serious wilderness chores. Most Scandinavian knives don't have finger guards, but this knife has one, which allows you to apply more force without worrying about your fingers slipping onto the blade. The handle is made from curly birch wood, sanded, oiled, and polished to a smooth finish, and has a slightly hooked pommel to help you maintain your grip, finished with a brass end cap.

The sheath is nicely detailed with stamped and stained artwork, has a snap closure to keep the knife securely in place, and contains a plastic liner to prevent the very sharp blade from slicing through.
