4:33 contracts do often offer more (7 VPs) than for winter tiles scoring similar resources. But winter tiles you can use more than once. Contracts are one-off. But as stated, they are yours to plan toward; you don’t have to win them in winter.

18:20 Correction. The Seabastion II is exchanged at the end of autumn (hence the autumn icon on the tile), not winter. So the player choosing that boat in autumn gets to make the change and select a different boat, which is then available for all of the players to take at the end of winter.
