whooh. that was a lot. but i did it! i transcribed one of the craziest songs in vol. 2 and managed to close the album off. sorta. see, the transcriptions for make me cry, à noite, and lua, are all live versions. but i don't care!! that's all the songs in djesse 2!!

-how confident are you feeling about this one?
more than with last one

-what was the hardest part?
actually not the solo! it was the background vocals for mm. 33-47. those were insane.

-how did you transcribe the solo?
i broke it down into beats and did each one separately. it took me 98 beats but it wasn't that overwhelming

-what will be your next transcription?
clarity i think. just to finish off vol. 3.

-what happened to box of stars?
i have the corrected version of part 1 loaded and ready to go for now, whereas part 2 is still a draft. i'm waiting for the logic breakdowns to drop so i can check. but! if you want to see the draft for pt. 2 (annotated, unfinished) to help me find mistakes, tell me in a comment below and i'll put together a quick video!

/ɳ/ (retroflex) could be brutally murdered and i would piss on its grave

-if i tell you all about it, would you tell me where to go?
depends. if you told me you commited a heinous crime (like putting /ɳ/ in a conlang) i would give you directions to the nearest cliff. however, if you started listing your favorite bad rap lyrics i would point you to my bed

-now that you mention it, has your favorite bad rap lyric changed?
that's not gonna work on me. do better. though if you want the answer, i have started collecting them, and i have a document with over 120 of them. right now my favorites are "she not a lesbian, for P she turn Pesbian" by future, and "j-ck off to lyrics by Leonard Cohen" by sabrina carpenter, but the latter is not rap

-ever wondered how to use microtones to spice up your jazz harmonies?
totally, i thought i was the only one thinking about that
