In this series, we'll look at the 11 different biomes that ecologists study. We'll discuss the specific climate, plants, and animals found in each biome. What is life like at the highest altitudes, way up in the tallest mountains? That's what ecologists are trying to find out when they study the ARCTIC TUNDRA BIOME. This is a cold, dry place (although sometimes there's snow). Only plants and animals with very special adaptations can survive here in these harsh conditions. In this video we'll learn more about this unique place, including the climate and meeting a few of the native flora and fauna (that's ecologist speak for plants and animals).
