What really happened:
In this 1979 video, legendary steeplejack Fred Dibnah demolishes a massive industrial chimney at an abandoned factory. He uses a sledgehammer to knock out bricks at the base.

What you learn from this video:
This method is extremely unsafe and should never be attempted by anyone! Modern demolitions use blasting caps and are handled by certified professionals only. Also, notice Fred isn’t wearing any PPE, no hardhat, no steel-toe boots, no earplugs, no safety vest, no safety glasses.
