Between December 2024 and March 2025, I took a bit of a break and travelled around Southeast Asia. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better few months away — I saw things I never thought I’d get to see, met some truly wonderful people, and had one of the most exciting (and challenging) times of my life.

Three months felt like three years in the best way — packed full of new experiences and unforgettable memories. I learnt so much about myself, and I genuinely think everyone should try doing something like this at least once. It changes you!

This song was actually written in the summer of 2023, during a time when I was feeling pretty bitter about a situation I’d been put in. The lyric "but I'm just a brain in a body, with nothing going on, an ego inflated is always a loss" came out of that moment. It was personal, but I think it taps into something more universal too — especially for women. That feeling of being reduced to your appearance, or what you can give to others. That deflating, belittling vibe when someone’s ego sucks all the air out of the room.

But the line is sarcastic. I knew it wasn’t true. This video is kind of my way of saying: look what I’m capable of. I am not just this box you’ve tried to put me in. Ha!

A big, joyful F you to anyone who’s ever made you feel small. I hope this is inspiring to anyone who’s been made to feel less-than by someone who thinks they’re more-than.
