📖 Synopsis / Plot

The film is set in 1986 in a village named Ramapuram.

The protagonist Raghava is the son of Kousalya, belonging to a backward caste, and studies in a rural college.

Kavya, the female lead, belongs to a higher caste and also studies in the same college. Despite the social divide, Raghava and Kavya fall in love.

Their love story, however, faces severe opposition because of the caste differences. The pressure builds when a college group coerces Raghava into publicly declaring his love in front of the village elders.

A village panchayat then intervenes and decides that the couple must be separated.
