Prevent engine sludge from impeding the power and performance of your RAM. Installing a J&L Version 3.0 Air/Oil Separator will prevent crankcase exhaust, better known as blow-by (an oily vapor), from re-circulated back through your PCV system and intake. If left unchecked, this oily vapor can solidify becoming engine sludge. This nasty sludge can coat the inside of your throttle body and intake manifold robbing you of power. A J&L 3.0 Separator is an ideal upgrade for all HEMI RAM's that want to reduce engine sludge in order to maintain power and performance.

Version 3.0. J&L improved on the designed of its old Oil Separator with the introduction of its new and improved Version 3.0. The first big change you will notice is that the Version 3.0 Separator has a larger 3-ounce capacity, that is almost double that of its previous model. Another important difference is the filter media. Older J&L Separators used a Ford Motorcraft pre-filter, but now J&L uses a 1/2-inch thick 1/16th-inch aluminum honeycomb filter with a mesh stainless steel screen to trap even more fine oil vapors than before to prevent them from gumming up your engine.

J&L CNC-machines its Air/Oil Separator from a solid block of billet aluminum for superior strength. Designed with a rubber o-ring, this Separator will maintain a tight leak-free seal. The base features a knurled texture, so that it can easily be gripped for removal during routine oil changes. J&L then completes its Catch Can in a durable, black anodized finish for aggressive good looks and long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Easy Installation. J&L Oil Separator Company engineered its Separator to be installed in under 10 minutes with just basic hand tools. This kit comes complete and includes 2 PCV lines with stock-style quick-disconnect fittings that allow for an easy plug-and-play installation. All the necessary parts are included, with no cutting or extra modifications required.

Application. This J&L Oil Separator Company Version 3.0 Black Passenger Side Air/Oil Separator is designed for use on 2019-2021 RAM 1500 models equipped with the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine. Installs on the passenger side, same side as the PCV valve.

Technical Note. This J&L Air/Oil Separator is not CARB certified, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not intended for highway use.
