Ornellaia || Super Tuscan || Decants with D

This video is about the Super Tuscan wine Ornellaia.

One of the original 4 Super Tuscan, Ornellaina was founded about 30 years ago.
Initially owned by Antinori, then in joint venture with Mondavi, Ornellaia was sold the the US company Constellation Brands and ultimately bought out by Frescobaldi.

D tastes the 2016 Ornellaina, which is rated 96 points by Wine Spectator and 98 by Wine Advocate, while 4.6 out of 5.0 by Vivino.

D likes the wine, it is ready to drink now, but better in 2022 or 2023. D rates it 4.6 as well.
The Ornellaia costs about $250.
