Done on Normal mode with TTT kid
Phase 1 was brilliantly designed fight. I especially appreciate how both Deus and Leina were designed similarly in difficulty, so you don't need to reset for obtaining easier one. Thrilling and enjoyable overall, it took around 1,5 hours
Phase 2 was... fucking experience. It's hard to start even, because it's by far most stressful experience i've ever had in fangames. I probably should note that for like 90 % of my playtime i didn't knew about how you can do this attack at 4:40 (Deus rage attack) - instead of this strat i just did it like phase 1 Deus lasers, until i randomly decided to try this strat (which is occasionaly common one). And let me say - doing it with my original strat was NIGHTMARE!!! Especially considering i'm not having great reaction time so this was completely mind-breaking and make everything twice as harder for me. I wonder how many hours i could cut if i guessed correct strat earlier and how many dead nerve cells this situation costs me in total, but eh... whatever
So with that in mind, let's examinate rest of the fight. Intermissions were also very hard for me (because i played fully blind). There a lot of them, like 15 or so, and each of it has instagib-core thing inside. At the end of a day, i managed to develop consisent strat for each of them, but there were still bunch of intermissions that were not consisent after all, especially reaction test with bird guy. And also dying to intermissions lately in fight, just because you strat is still not ideal was also fucking soul-crushing
Not only the things i described, but also fucking final attack is completely cracked. I died to it at least 15+ times, more likely 20+ times. It's lasts that long, so you can't simply fluke it (well okay you might be can, but like in general), you need to understand what's going on. To be honest, even after clear, i'm still in awe that i managed to develop some strategies here, considering how far this attack in fight
Even aside of mentioned things, there was still some brutality, like Leina rage attack was not easy to understand how to do it consistently, and regular buffed attacks of Deus and Leina are also pretty tricky and you need to be constantly awared of them
All in all, it was insane fight. Unfortunately, most of my playtime was like suffering, because of demanding learning and bad/not completely proper strats. But after i understand everything besides final attack, it becomes finally enjoyable. So yeah, despite subjective factors, this boss is banger. Really atmospheric, driving and diverse. I can't say could i recommend this to play blindly as i did, but it was memorable for me for sure. Overall this phase took a bit under 18 hours i believe, it's really brutal clash, easily about as hard as Desti final boss or something
And now Laplace awaits and then exceed. I will try to did no-hit runs of exceed bosses, which i would like from glance
P.S: Thunderstrike at 8:53 is glorious
