Hey everyone, and welcome back to my Dragon Age Inquisition playthrough! In this episode, we decided to be brave (or maybe just foolish) and head into the Frostback Basin, the area from the Jaws of Hakkon DLC. I thought my party was ready for whatever this beautiful region could throw at us, but boy, was I wrong.

We start off exploring the stunning landscape, taking in the sights of the basin, but things go south pretty quickly. The local wildlife and the Avvar hunters here—specifically the Jaws of Hakkon—are on a completely different level. You'll see us struggle against waves of high-level Hakkonites and some absolutely brutal giant spiders that just would not go down. Despite our best efforts to strategize and manage our potions, we ended up staring at the "Game Over" screen more times than I'd like to admit. Eventually, after repeatedly getting wiped out by the sheer difficulty spike, we had to call it a day and retreat to fight another day. It’s a slice of humble pie, served cold in the Frostback Basin!
