On 22nd August 2025 (5th Bhadra), I started my spiritual journey from Guskara Station to the holy land of Tarapith on the auspicious occasion of Kaushiki Amavasya. Boarding the Bardhaman–Tinpahad MEMU Special at 7:02 AM, I reached Rampurhat Junction at 8:32 AM. From there, I took a shared toto (₹50 per head) and arrived at the sacred Tarapith Temple, about 10 km away.

Inside the temple, the atmosphere was intense as thousands of devotees had gathered for Kaushiki Amavasya Darshan. I purchased my puja dali, stood in the long general queue, and with the help of a panda, finally managed to offer prayers and receive Maa Tara’s blessings.

After darshan, I visited the Tarapith Mahashamshan, one of the most mystical spiritual places in Bengal. The cremation ground was filled with devotees, tantrics, and sadhus performing rituals and yajnas. It is believed that on Kaushiki Amavasya, Bamakhepa Baba attained siddhi here, and whoever prays wholeheartedly on this day receives the divine grace of Maa Tara.

This one-day trip gave me the rare opportunity to witness the energy of Tantric sadhana, rituals, and midnight puja preparations at Mahashamshan. Finally, I returned to Rampurhat station and took the train back home, carrying the blessings of Maa Tara.
