Perfect Dark Zero | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

The Nintendo 64 is my favorite console of all time and I have fond memories of many games that I played on this classic machine. I was too young to enjoy GoldenEye, but when its spiritual successor in the form of Perfect Dark came out, I played it a ton. Though I think that game has not aged all that well, it still is remembered by many and thus there was much anticipation when the first launch title for the Xbox 360 would be Perfect Dark Zero.
I remember it getting quite good reviews all across the board from the usual review sites and so I bought it as my first 360 title. Yet even then I could sense that something was up and have never been able to play more than half the game without quitting.
Now it has been over a decade since I last played Perfect Dark Zero and so I thought it would be a great idea to pick this game up again and add it to the archives. I could then also try to pinpoint what exactly it was that I did not like about it back in the day. And oh boy....it all came back to me at once. The biggest problem with the game are its controls. They are incredibly sluggish and inaccurate. Even to the point where I thought it was me, but after rebooting tightly controlled games like Halo 3 and Gears of War I can say with confidence that it's Perfect Dark who is to blame for these horrid controls. Level design is also sometimes confusing and all over the place. It felt really sluggish playing through this campaign, but I have finally completed it. So I am glad that we can now finally archive this game so it won't ever be lost to time, but I don't think I will go back to this game any time soon.
