About Speaker:

Symbiosis team was founded in early 2012, consisting of Mandiliotis Dimitrios, Kyprioti Aikaterini, Toumpas Konstantinos, Kaza Kyriaki, all undergraduate students of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, alongside with Dr. Hadjileontiadis Leontios, Associate Professor of ECE, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Symbiosis keystone has always been the mutual agreement of its members for providing aid to communities facing social exclusion and isolation.

Following this vision, Symbiosis team has designed and developed the system "Symbiosis Alzheimer's Support", which through cutting edge technology, creates a novel environment to facilitate, understand and incorporate the needs of the whole Alzheimer's disease community (patients, caregivers and doctors). Symbiosis team has been the recipient of various awards, such as Top 6 ranking at Microsoft's 2012 Imagine Cup World Finals competition (Sydney), second prize award and audience award at Social Innovation Tournament 2012 organized by European Investment Bank (Luxemburg), and numerous acknowledgements.
