GTX 1660 Super - Is This Card Still Worth It in 2023?

The GTX 1660 Super was released a few years ago.. it was a 6GB card, which was a refresh of the Nvidia GTX 1660 series. Today in 2023, we revisited the GTX 1660 Super to see if it is still viable; and, as always, we tested the GTX 1660 Super with our usual suite of competitive games - Warzone 2, Apex Legends, Fortnite Chapter 4, Valorant and PUBG. We have paired our GTX 1660 Super with the fastest Ryzen AM4 gaming CPU, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and the model we are using is the ‪@GIGABYTE_Global‬ GTX 1660 Super ITX.

As always, all of our testing is based off real-world gameplays, which truly reflects actual performance of the hardware in-game. Here in OverseerPC, we focus more on real world performance rather than charts and controlled benchmark runs - and we tune settings to Competitive.
