This video started out as a repair/restoration video, but beyond replacing the power cord and cleaning the controls, everything else seemed to be working well. As a result, I decided to show some tips and tricks to cleaning the controls and "re-capping" the receiver. As fate would have it, the first capacitor I removed was bad! Talk about unexpected. The next thing you know, I am testing and comparing different capacitors to see how a capacitor's specs can affect the performance of the circuit. Anyway, it was fun!
