This week I am doing some experimenting and exlporing making bowl pattern on my own. I have been using Inkscape off and on for several years on a basic level. I also do a lot of Texas themed projects and wondered if I could make a Texas shaped bowl. This video is the result of my second design and I think it is a not as good as the first. The result is not as bad looking in the video as it is in person, kinda strange. I will be going another direction in the next pattern, just don't know what it is yet. I did consider starting the rings from the inside out, just a thought. So I did that, that is I cut another one backwards but did not show it in this video. I may post another video in a day or two and show that attempt. It worked. I mean backwards with the pattern on the reverse side, starting in the middle and cutting the opposite direction. It worked just as well. Maybe I can edit a video of the pieces I have. I will try.
