Create an Interactive Excel Dashboard in 15 Minutes. In this tutorial, we'll build an automated Excel dashboard using the sample data provided. First, we'll establish the base of our dashboard by removing gridlines and applying color to the entire sheet. Next, we'll outline the structure of the dashboard using shapes. Then, we'll connect our metrics using text boxes, the formula bar, and pivot table values. Afterward, we'll create visualizations, including a stacked column chart for Sales vs Target per month, a smooth line chart for total customers per month, and a bar chart for profit per region. Since our charts are based on Pivot Tables, they might come with unwanted Field Buttons, which we'll show you how to remove. Finally, we'll customize the dashboard and add slicers. Slicers allow us to automate our dashboard by providing buttons for filtering data with a single click.
