1.18 scale BMW 5 series Metropolitan Police Armed Response Vehicle (old style+ Extras) .

Here is one of my latest builds.
The iconic BMW 5 series used by the sc019 Metropolitan Police specialist firearms officers. These were commonly seen in London with the old style jam sandwich livery.

A lot of work had gone into building this.

Originally this was a Jadi base model which therefore came with right hand drive and cannot complain! One thing that bugged me was that it came with no opening boot. I would have to look for a much more expensive Kyosho branded model to have this feature, but wasn't necessarily.

I have filled in the sunroof with filler, primed and resprayed the car in silver.
Painted the interior matt black with detail added.

Vinyl designed and cut, before carefully applied by my own hands.

This had taken me many hours of concentration and hard work.

I sold it off to an interested model collector and before going to a nice home, I decided to make a quick video along with my other 1.18 scale model and also my 1.43 scale models, it was my only opportunity.

I had really enjoyed making this. After seeing the end results I am very chuffed with myself, with interest shown by a collector who wanted to buy it, well you cannot get better feedback than that from someone else.
