Here's Billl Tepas, a member of the 1969 national championship Kenmore West Blue Devils football team, talking about that fantastic team, that memorable season, and growing up in the Kenmore area.
Besides being on that terrific team which went 8-0, outscored its opponents 389-67, Tepas talks about legendary Kenmore West Coach Jules Yakapovich and the run option spread offense and radar defense.
In addition to football, Tepas was an all Niagara Frontier League outfielder, and later in life was inducted into the Western New York Softball Hall of Fame in 2013, and in 2019, he was inducted into the Kenmore West High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
Give a watch and listen on what Bill Tepas has to safe during his trip down memory lane.
