Since the troupe's inaugural season in 1997, the HMHS Madrigal Singers have transformed the polyphonic Renaissance tradition into a dessert theater with a lively Wassail toast and a regal presentation of the Boar's Head.

Over the years, the Madrigal singers have performed at the White House, Washington National Cathedral, the Kimmel Center, and Longwood Gardens.

This year, there are 26 Madrigal Singers, in grades nine through twelve.
Under the direction of HMHS choir director, Tyler Mills, the singers appear in renaissance inspired costumes as they present madrigal songs, motets, and carols of the season.
