Fire alarm activation at Hotel 24 South, an independent boutique hotel in Staunton, Virginia. The fire alarm system is a Siemens voice evacuation system, with Siemens pull stations and Faraday notification appliances. On our floor, at least, the alarm system instructed us to stand by for further information. Ultimately, the alarm, which turned out to be accidental, was reset, with no further informaton given via the speakers.

While filming the alarm, I discovered a bad speaker at the end of the fifth floor hallway in the hotel's historic wing.
