INSTANT MUTTER DHOKLA

We Gujaratis always create Dhokla from Amy and everything around us. 😋 Check out this delicious and nutritious Fresh Peas🫛 Dhokla ! This savory steamed Gujarati snack is made with a combination of semolina, chickpea flour, and fresh green peas, and then steamed to perfection. It’s a great option for a nutritious and flavorful snack or even a light meal. Plus, it’s packed full of protein and fiber, making it a satisfying option for anyone looking to eat well.
Ingredients:
1 cup Suji (Semolina)
1 tbs Besan (Gram Flour)
1/2 cup khatta Dahi (Sour Curd)
Approx 1/4 cup Water
1/4 cup chopped Green Peas
1 small crushed Ginger knob
Finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
Finely chopped Coriander
Salt as per taste
Red Chilli Powder
1 tbs Oil
Some Mustard Seeds
Pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
White Sesame Seeds
Few Curry Leaves
Method:
Take a mixing bowl, add 1 cup Suji
Take 1 tbs Besan
Add 1/2 cup khatta Dahi
Add Approx 1/4 cup Water
Mix it well and rest the batter for 30-45 min
Further add 1/4 cup chopped Green Peas
Add 1 small crushed Ginger knob
Add finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
Add finely chopped Coriander
Add Salt as per taste
Keep a steamer on along with a stand in it
Keep a greased plate ready
Then 1 small packet Fruit Salt (Eno) and mix it well
Pour batter in the greased plate
Sprinkle Red Chilli Powder on the batter
Place the plate inside steamer
Cover the lid with a cloth to avoid water dripping on dhokla
Steam for 15-20 min on medium heat
Let's prepare tadka, heat up the pan
Add 1 tbs Oil
Add Mustard Seeds & Asafoetida Powder
Add White Sesame Seeds & few Curry Leaves
Pour this tadka on dhokla
Cut it into pieces and top with some Coriander
Enjoy delicious Matar Dhokla
