Let’s Brunch: Chicken and Waffles | Red Velvet Waffles using cake mix

Ingredients listed below:

6-8 chicken wings (chicken tenders or breast work well too)
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup corn meal
Vegetable oil
Cooking spray
2 cups buttermilk

For Red velvet Waffles (makes 4-5 waffles in my waffle maker) -
1 box Red velvet cake mix (I like Duncan Hines)
3 eggs
1 cup milk

For plain waffles -
2 cups Aunt Jemima pancake/waffle mix
1 - 1 1/2 cup milk
2 tbs sugar

Seasoning for breading mixture -
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp Rosemary leaves
1 tsp parsley flakes
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Seasoning for buttermilk mixture -
1 tbs paprika
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs onion powder
1 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp rosemary leaves
1 tbs parsley flakes
Salt and pepper (to taste)
** you can add cayenne pepper or hot sauce for a nice kick

Icing -
1/3 cup cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk

Serve with your favorite choice of warm syrup and garnish with fresh fruit !!!💋
