Chris' Inked Pens - March 2021

Описание к видео Chris' Inked Pens - March 2021

In this video I show you my final ink and pen choices for March 2021 and we do a writing sample + go over the report card for February 2021. At the end of the video I give a brief update on Coco, our plumbing situation and I show you a special pen I'm going to review in a few days.
Here are the pens/inks shown:
1. Platinum 3776 NICE Rose Gold Demonstrator B gold nib, Diamine Aqua Lagoon (I recently purchased this pen from Pen Chalet - it has been a dream pen for me for a long time!)
2. TWSBI Eco Smoke Rose Gold M - Birmingham Slag Grey NEW (ink from pen friend M.B.) (Pen purchased at Dromgoole's in Texas)
3. Pen BBS 352 Anderson 1.1 stub (pen from Ms Turtle) - Parker Quink Blue Black (ink from pen friend M.B./UK)
4. Graf Von Faber Castell Loom EF (pen from pen friend B.M.) - Colorverse Laurel (ink from pen friend K.S.)
5. Parker Vector M - gift from a pen pal friend with Parker red cartridge from same pen friend!!!!
6. Wing Sung 3008 1.1 Lamy stub - Levenger Amethyst (ink from pen friend C.S.)
7. Lamy Vista - B - Sailor Mango from a previous Ink Flight from #inkjournal
8. Lamy NEXX - Lamy B nib - Birmingham Pennsylvania Railroad Boiler Steam NEW (ink from pen friend C.K.)
The pen I will be reviewing is from Ferris Wheel Press and is called: The Scribe -- it's a high end ball point pen - nice and hefty with a really high quality German archival ink refill. My pen is in the Tattler's Teal. I show the pen very briefly in this video. Expected release date in late March 2021.
Thank you for watching and for all the well wishes as we repair our plumbing and deal with a sick kitty and my anxiety. Things will be okay ... I learn from every disaster. None present in just exactly the same manner so there's always room for improvement. When I started thinking about how we always say "thank goodness our gas stove was working thru that hurricane" it made me realize that we could easily think that will be the case every time ... but if the stove would not heat any food or water ... I think that would be a hardship -- so I ordered a nice little butane portable cooker for use indoors or outdoors. Once butane Buddy Heaters are back in stock, I'll get one of those too. It's either that or a wood stove. None of us will forget this winter - even those who had power were affected by the extreme cold.
