In this video I show you how to improve the Celestron CGX mounts motor units to eliminate the design issues and get rid of the sawtooth guiding.

Used bearings (per unit)
Worm:
2 pc SS2 608 ZZ CN V2 P6 GS1 8x22x7 mm

Gearbox:
1 pc. MF 52 W2 open 2x5x2 mm
1 pc. MF 85 W2 open 5x8x2 mm
1 pc. MR 85 ZZ / 2Z CN V2 P6 GS1 5x8x2.5 mm

Grease:
For the worm drives:
Adhesive, graphite based. (MoS² is also ok)

Gearbox: Any lithium based, light adhesive grease
