I recently upgraded my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 (2nd Gen) to the new Clarett 8pre USB. I wanted to show if there was an audible difference between the audio quality when used by an amateur (AKA me).

I test the Scarlett against the Clarett with the "Air" feature both enabled and disabled.

The signal chain:
Yamaha FG700s
Shure KSM27 (in stereo)
Interface

No post-processing except some volume adjustments between fingerstyle and strumming.
