Gone are the days of full manual collection in North Little Rock.

In December 2022, North Little Rock introduced automated trash collection to its tens of thousands of residents. Because of that, they bought four M2 112 Pythons to replace a few of their rear loaders. Now the rear loaders are either leaf vacuum trucks, do overflow trash, or do tight streets where ASL’s can’t get to. Also, on the first days of automation, they gave residents the opportunity to remove their old garbage cans/carts. So here’s some footage of North Little Rock’s only dual drive truck. It’s pretty interesting, since there aren’t many M2 112 ASLs in Arkansas, and also because of the way they wrapped it. This truck, with the exception of their M2 106 Python and Isuzu Curbtender Quantum, has the caution sign that they used for about a decade. I wish this truck was a stand up though, in case the driver has to do backdoor stops or overflow trash. One of their newer rear loaders is also seen, and does overflow trash.
