But anyways... I've been gatekeeping. I figured out this hack a few months back when I picked up a piece of furniture that was previously owned by smokers. This hack also works to remove that old, musty smell used furniture can sometimes have.
So.. here's what I did!
I scrubbed the piece entirely with a 1:1 ratio of vinegar & water
I cleaned everything - including the inside of the dresser & inside of the drawers! I also used a very dull scrubbing sponge to get off any grime or residue
I then took Arm and Hammer Pet Fresh Carpet Odor Eliminator and sprinkled it in all of the drawers. This stuff smells AMAZING!! Here is the link - https://amzn.to/3IRy3r6
I left it in there while I was gone for the holidays - about 2ish weeks, and these dressers smell like new!
