Step inside the Mark V SkyTrain!

This five-car train has more space than ever, with wider aisles and walk-through carriages, allowing up to 25% more passengers onboard. New features include digital passenger information displays, increased standing area, and spacious flex areas with leaning pads and bike straps.

The Mark V SkyTrain will replace Mark I trains and prepare the network for future ridership demand.

These trains are a result of previous Investment Plans and help us in preparing our transit system for ridership growth. We need continued investments like these, to keep up with Metro Vancouver’s rapidly growing population.
