作為一個有著維京人血統（像北海小英雄）的外國人，在台灣生活，我更喜歡秋天和冬天的天氣。中秋節是一個感恩的時刻，感謝我們度過了夏天的炎熱酷暑，迎接即將到來的涼爽天氣。盡管外面仍然相當炎熱，但我認為現在是將事情變得更加火熱的最佳時機——點燃燒烤瓦斯爐和預備好木炭燒烤區，辦一場台灣風格的燒烤派對！

在今天的視頻中，我們參觀了台中的一個當地黃昏市場，並採買季芳購物清單上的物品。
一回到家，女孩們輪流準備各種食材，冷飲。有了美食，使得任何節日變得更加愉快，讓我們思考生活的眾多祝福，笑聲和創造回憶。

Hello, friends and family! We’re still alive, but have been extremely busy with family matters over the past month. Thank you for your patience. Now we’re back, with a special holiday video that involves food!

As a foreigner of Scandinavian descent, living in Taiwan, I enjoy the fall and winter weather more than most things. Mid Autumn Festival is a time to be grateful for surviving the summer heat, and for the cooler weather to come. Even though it’s still quite hot outside, I think it a suitable time to heat things up even more- to fire up the gas and charcoal grills, and do BBQ Taiwanese-style!

In today’s video, we visit a local afternoon market in Taichung, and hunt for items on Christy’s epic shopping list. Once we arrive home, the girls take turns prepping the various food and drinks. What makes any holiday a joy is the time together, preparing simple food, reflecting on life’s many blessings, laughing, and making memories. We hope you enjoy today’s video. Whether you are celebrating this year’s holiday alone or with friends and family, our family wants to wish you a very happy Moon festival, and an epic finish to the year 2023.
