Here are 5 steps to find out approximately how long USCIS is likely to take to process your visa petition or application:

Step 1. Go to the USCIS Processing Times page. Here's the link:

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Step 2. Select your USCIS form.

If you're not sure what it is, refer to your USCIS Receipt notice

Step 3. Select your form category

Step 4. Select your USCIS local office or Service Center

Again, refer to your USCIS Receipt notice if you're not sure.

Step 5. Click "Get processing time."

The processing time answer you get is based on how long it took USCIS to complete 80% of adjudicated cases over the past six months.

However each case is unique, and some cases may take longer than others.

So it's just a reference point.
