How To Install Levolor Cordless Blinds

Learn how to install your new Levelor custom size now premium cordless blinds. You don't need to be a professional to install these Levelor custom size premium cordless blinds. For this quick and easy install, all u need is a screwdriver, measuring tape, a pencil and a power drill. To get started, first unpack all of your custom blinds and set aside all custom hardware. Be sure to check the head rail thoroughly to make sure you have all components. If you've purchased a 23" cordless blind set, these components will be located int he top end cap of the package.

Next, place the blinds on a flat surface so that you can see the sticker that says "insert wand stem" here. Remove the sticker and insert the wand stem into the blinds, pressing firmly using the red wand stem grip. When it is securely in place the engraved wand ring disappears. After installing the wand stem, the red wand grip can be discarded.

Now you can mount the brackets. To properly mount them, each side should swing upward. For an inside mount, position the brackets here and use the side holes here. For an outside mount, position the brackets like so and use the back holes. Either way use the two larger screws, and mount the brackets. For blinds wider than 37" use the included center bracket for added support and stability. Be sure not to mount the center mounting bracket where it will interfere with any cords.

Next assemble the wand. With the set screw facing up connect the two parts. Use the allen wrench to tighten the two pieces together. Now insert the head rail of the blinds into the mounted brackets. Next attach the balance clips into the balance. Turn the balance clips 90 degrees, then connect to the head rail. Attach the wand. If you want to mount the blinds to the bottom of the frame attach the pieces to the bottom of the window with the screws. Finally, adjust the tension of the blinds by tightening or loosening the break under the head rail. Now, you're finished.
