Humble Heart is a song I wrote looking back on how my life used to be and the transition of relying on myself, to turning to Jesus and learning to put my trust in Him. I truly believe that I would still be stuck in many of my old habits if it wasn't for Him showing me how to let go of my pride and the idea that I have to fix everything on my own. I can give all of my cares to Him and I can trust that He will will have better outcome for my life than i could ever make for myself.
This is also the first song I've made with my wife! which we think is very fitting considering how hard a marriage can be without true humility, and that is something we have to practice everyday. It is so worth the joy and freedom that comes with the journey as we learn more and more how to serve one another in true love the way that Jesus shows us.
