Solo Winter Spiti in a Diesel Car. -31 Cold Start. P-2

Took a solo trip to spiti in Altoz diesel. All possible things which fail in -20 to -30 were upgraded. Some of the upgrades I made : Engine Oil - Motul xmax "Freezing point -47 C" , Gear Oil - Motul "Freeing point around -45C" , Glow Plug - "Bosch Duraterm " *More updated models were not available in Altroz size , Coolant - "Castrol Heavy Duty - 1/3 Ratio -37 C Compatible. My battery was 450 CCA rated which was not good but worked fine.

I purchased a profoli antigel a year before the trip. May be the first thing I purchased for Winter Spiti and it was the only thing which was lost. Car Struggled a little because of not having antigel as diesel turned in gel.
Do note : Antigel itself freezes at 0C and works after mixing. When you carry one keep it at a warm place.

All this ensured my Car was stress free. At even -31 the engine made no harsh sounds. All clean as the engine oil worked perfectly fine. Motul oils are really premium oils.

Few mods like glow plug bypass was done but the switch was frozen.
