The Gluek brewery began in 1849 and finally sold out to the G.Heileman Brewing Company of Lacrosse after they closed in 1964. They were located on Marshall Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis, just down the road from the Grain Belt brewing Company. They made many different products over their lifetime, including sodas and mixers, during prohibition to stay in business. Here are a few of their cans and products along with a very brief overview from a collector that’s passionate about their history.
