Members of the Nelson Mandela Children's Parliament are calling for the inclusion of children in policy-making processes related to child wellness. The 11th Children's Parliament is currently sitting in the Eastern Cape.

The members have convened in the provincial legislature in Bhisho under the theme "Maximising the voices of children in addressing social ills affecting them. Debates and deliberations are being held about issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, gender-based violence and femicide.
