Hello everyone. This is a really interesting location that we find ourselves in here. This is where the Lehigh Valley railroads Pottsville branch would have crossed the Reading railroad Little Schuylkill branch. What's fascinating about the Reading line is that it dates back to 1830 and is one of the oldest railroads in Pennsylvania. This is originally the Little Schuylkill railroad and it ran from Port Clinton to Tamaqu. It would become part of the Philadelphia and Reading and now is the Reading and Northern mainline. Thank you for watching. 5/6/24
