Bad areas of cities serve to fascinate people all around the world. Most people may know the stories of Oakland, Detroit, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Memphis, or St. Louis; but many other cities have many bad areas. These areas may not be as bad or as widespread as some of the aforementioned cities, but they still are more troubled than most places.

Calgary has many bad areas, mostly concentrated in the Southeast quadrant of the city. That being said Calgary's bad areas are more widespread than most cities, with bad areas existing in all 4 quadrants of Calgary including Downtown.
