Ocqueteau 715 With 150HP Engine - Full Run (360 VR)

A full 6 minute run of the Ocqueteau 715 with a 165HP Mercruiser D-Tronic 2.8l engine, it's supposed to generate 150HP at the prop so equivalent of a Volvo TAMD-31 150HP.

Clean'ish bottom (anti fouled 2 months ago, nothing visible) in to a head wind of around 9 knots, over slack water so no current, here are some ideas of performance.

00:00 - 6 knots @ approx 1400 RPM
00:12 - 13 knots @ approx 3000 RPM
00:48 - 16 knots @ approx 3400 RPM
01:33 - 17.5 knots @ approx 3600 RPM

Bit of running up and down the rev range then:-

05:07 - 19 Knots @ 3850 RPM (bouncing of the limiter)

Without the headwind I can add on about a knot, plus another with a friendly tide. But that's yer lot.

This is swinging an 18x16 4 blade prop and I'm sure I'm under propped when running single handed/clean bottom. Engine really struggles to warm up properly, got plenty of throttle left and it's revving slightly too easy. Only really feel the load coming on the engine after 3300RPM. I would definitely get away with going to a 17" pitch, maybe even an 18" but it would possibly cause an issue with 3-4 onboard and when the bottom has been fouled up more so I'll stick with this for now.
