Описание к видео Is Tiny Hexagon City the Best Design Yet? - Cities Skylines 2

Welcome back to another episode of Cities Skylines 2! In this episode of our Let's Play series, we continue to develop the tiniest city in Cities Skylines 2, known as Tiny Town. Our focus is on expanding Tiny Hexagon City, which features a unique hexagonal road layout like a honeycomb. This adds a new layer of complexity and beauty to our city-building efforts. Join us as we navigate the challenges and joys of creating the smallest Cities Skylines city ever.

In Tiny Town, we build using only the smallest zoned building sizes, primarily 2x2 buildings and 1x2 row houses. We’ve also introduced some variety with 2x3, 3x2, and 3x3 buildings. This keeps our town true to its name while offering a diverse and visually appealing layout. Today, we aim to fill in the gaps in Tiny Hexagon City and make sure it’s a bustling hub within our tiny metropolis.

We address some ongoing issues in Tiny Town, including the persistent cream shortage and the occasional flooding problems near the waterfront. Despite these challenges, our city continues to grow and thrive. We explore new industrial areas, particularly focusing on oil production to meet the city's demands and create more jobs. Our aim is to ensure a self-sufficient and smoothly running Tiny Town.

Traffic management is another critical aspect of today’s episode. We encounter some congestion near the industrial zones and work on optimizing road layouts to improve the flow of vehicles. By adjusting train routes and industrial road networks, we strive to make Tiny Town’s traffic as efficient as possible.

Tiny Town also sees the addition of new amenities and services to improve the quality of life for our residents. We build more creameries to address the cream shortage and consider the placement of schools, firehouses, and medical clinics to ensure our tiny citizens have everything they need. We also focus on adding small offices and commercial buildings to create more jobs and meet the demands of our growing population.

As we develop Tiny Hexagon City, we experiment with different building layouts and zoning options to maximize space and functionality. This area of Tiny Town is designed to be a bustling center with a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial zones, all within the unique hexagonal grid.

We also take some time to district various areas of Tiny Town, including Tiny Circle City and the tiny waterfront, to give each area its own identity and improve management. This helps us keep track of the different zones and ensure that each part of Tiny Town receives the attention it needs.

Overall, Tiny Town is a testament to creative and efficient city planning in Cities Skylines 2. With its small building sizes and unique layouts, it presents a fun and challenging way to play the game. Join us as we continue to build and refine this tiny but mighty city, ensuring it remains a delightful place for its residents.
